Hello old friends,all apologies for my absence,but with the finals and exams coming up,i think you all understand why.So it seems I've picked the worst time to become a superstar,since nothing good is coming from stardoll,everything is just so monotone so pink,so uncreative,so boring.

I thought i might just make a post about two looks i really like,from the movies The virgin suicides and rosemary's baby.

I am pretty obsessed with the movie The Virgin Suicides,a couple of days ago i discovered this cool dress from decades.It really reminds me of her dress,a very dreamy and rad dress i would say.

Plus its on sale right now.(Decades Zelda Dress,13sd,7sd on sale)

Rosemary's baby is a pretty creepy movie,but you have to admit her style is pretty killer,so basically she wears a lot of baby doll dresses,collared ones,flowy ones,in super cool patterns.

Any dreamy,collared,flowy,and baby doll dress that you have,should work.

                                                                           

Or you could be doing her Pixie cut,freckles,and dark eyes.

So you could look (in the word of rookie magazine)spawn of satan chic.

dungarees! spring-summer 2013.

                       DUNGAREES ARE BACK!


Heyy everyone, grace here!
in this post i will be telling you vintage lovers about dungarees and how to style them! personally, i think they are amazing and super cute! not to keen on them? hopefully this will change your mind. :D

retro dungarees may be high fashion, but they can be worn in soo many different ways — not just for posh occasions, but for everyday use as well!

dungarees can have a boyish quality to them but by adding girly accessories like: belts, bracelets, necklaces, statement rings, and bold earings this will help to create a more balanced look. remember, piled on accessories look great with denim. adding interesting accessories makes sure your look will be fashion forward (and not stuck in the past!) 






overalls have a ton of options for layering! maybe try wearing tanks and short sleeve shirts under on hot summer days and adding a cardigan or leather jacket on top for colder nights.

Spring With Prada

So,spring is here!!

I have not posted in a while because of my boredom,and i just had a lot of stuff going on.But anyways i wanted to talk about the new hot buys weekly arrival.

The Clothes this week are inspired by Prada's Spring 2013 collection,now compared to the other weeks i actually like these pieces,my favourites are the rad shoes and glasses...

  

The Shoes are quite an eccentric design and most dolls did not like them but i love them,as shown by the great Amber Valletta

on their spring campaign,this is the stardoll version:

The Mod

So we are finally back from a looong break,i am sorry for keeping all of you guys waiting,but sometimes other priorities come in the way and i could not post so often.


So i wanted to mix it up this time by bringing you a look inspired by the roaring 60s and 70s,as they are my favorite decades ever and i wish i had a time machine to go live in them,unfortunately thats not possible but they are always with us at heart,

Mostly you can find 60 or 70s themed clothes in a starplaza shop we like to call "Decades".I personally love that shop and the hidden stuff that most people overlook are so fabulous and cool.

make-up tutorial: Grunge rock

hey! 

in this post i will be telling you how to get the look 'grunge rock'. I love this look! it's so beautiful and would look great how ever you style it.

you will need:

black lengthening mascara

black volumising mascara

black liquid eyeliner

black eye pencil

black eye-shadow

black brow definer (optional)

flame red lipstick

more moca blush (optional)

step 1:  apply the red lipstick and mascara.

before applying the red lipstick make sure your medoll has the darkest lip colour. this will make the red lipstick have more effect.

step 2: add black eye pencil to your upper and lower eye.

it doesn't have to be perfect, the more messier it is, the more effect it gives!

also, adding the black liquid eyeliner to the bottom makes the eye stand out more, but you dont have to add it if you dont want to.

step 3: add black eye-shadow all around the eye. This creates a smudged look,

step 4: add any finishing touches! 

i have added more moca blush to bring out the cheekbones and added brow definer to the eyebrows.
